A letter from Pokey

I’m Pokey Chatman, head coach and GM of the Indiana Fever. I’d like to take a second and personally thank you for your interest in our team. Our fans are at the core of what makes the Fever and the WNBA so special. For myself and our team, it’s an honor to take the court for you each night.

Now entering our 20th season, Indianapolis and the state of Indiana have embraced this team. As a former visiting coach with the Sky, I had a taste of it, but you don’t really understand it until you live it, until you’re wearing that Fever “F”. The atmosphere at a game is contagious. It’s hard-nosed. It’s gritty, determined and the game itself is pure basketball. That’s what we’re about. It’s what you expect. And none of this would be possible without your support.

So whether you’re a first-time fan or returning to see our new-look squad, rest assured, we’re doing the hard work now to bring you the best team and deliver the best experience possible, at every game.

Pokey Chatman
